I love the look of this piece, the clarity and the richness of the red color, it doesn't feel overwhelming. But I wonder if it would create a bolder contrast if you lightened her skin to look more like white porcelain, if you can find a way to remove the pinkish tone in her skin. She might "pop" a little more. Nicole Kidman comes to mind, from the movie Moulin Rouge, which is SUCH and incredible movie. She's wearing the satin red dress when she's in the Elephant and singing her Fly, Fly Away song. Let me know if you post a revision!
