vision/originality: while this is not a particularly unique image (the head and shoulders portrait in an outdoor setting has been done many times, many ways), you clearly took advantage of a nice location and your camera/lens, and the light (this is especially important) and beautiful model to create a terrific, high-quality image.
technique: here's where this really starts to shine...with excellent use of light (it appears there is some bounce and/or off camera flash coming from low camera left and right) and the control of that fill brings the viewers focus directly to the subject's face, where her beautiful features and large eyes (with wonderful catchlights) causes you to pause and admire. exposure appears well-controlled and balanced perfectly with the ambient. with excellent control of dof, the model seems to just "pop" from the background (which is an interesting, but not overly distracting pattern).
impact: what else can be said, the combination of a beautiful subject with excellent technique and application of skills has resulted in a wonderful portrait. it made me stop and pause, and that's a testament to impact in my mind.
overall: an excellent image, worthy of praise. congrats to you both for a wonderful photograph. this is by far the best picture of her in your gallery, and this is one i would be proud to share.
