Since the first piece of art was ever made by man, different people had different perceptions, so this is quite a risk when showing your work to the world. Further more, this is a a sensible subject so we felt like there is some clearing up to be done.
The uniform is not authenthic, because it's not supposed to be. This is not the Nazi soldier - as you may already know, the dead are not the only victims of war. And this soldier has mixed equipment to better depict the fact that war has no kind regards for any human, no matter the nation. The message here is about the universality of pain (and the plethora of planes in which it acts) that war can cause.
The title is supposed to be ironic, since this soldier is battered and scared, still holding hate in his eyes. The so called super soldier is just a man that is almost dead on the outside and long dead on the inside - there is nothing super about him, the irony of the title just comes to show the horror of war.
